John Easterling and Olivia Newton-John first crossed paths at an environmental exhibition in the ’80s. They remained friends for 20 years before they started dating in 2006. US Weekly reported that when Easterling spent the night at Olivia’s guest house while he was in California on business, the two’s relationship really began to blossom.
The businessman broke his lower spine in a car accident the next morning while traveling to the airport. He returned to John’s, Newton’s home, to relax after refusing medication at the hospital.
